3) RESUMEN: I give an overview and appreciation of quantum field theory, the most precisely tested theory in physics. The talk is addressed to those not familiar with the subject and based on my textbook Quantum Field Theory in a Nutshell and my semi-popular book Quantum Field Theory, as Simply as Possible (both published by Princeton University Press.)

4) MINI-BIO DEL ORADOR: A. Zee received his undergraduate degree and doctorate from Princeton University and Harvard University respectively. He has been at the University of California, Santa Barbara since 1985. Besides his research articles, he has authored several noted textbooks and a number of popular books on physics including Fearful Symmetry and On Gravity (available in Spanish translation as Temerosa Simetria and Sobre la Gravedad respectively.)
